Easy roadside pine-forest picnic area above 1,000 m by San José de los Llanos. Tables (including accessible), fogones, accessible toilets during ranger hours, children’s play space and PRM parking, with an adjoining tent campsite and nearby restaurant (separate).
Fire & BBQ Safety
Fixed cooking facilities (fogones) may be available at this recreation area, but their use can be restricted or completely prohibited during periods of elevated wildfire risk. Check current Cabildo de Tenerife / Tenerife ON restrictions before lighting any fire. Fires are only for food preparation in designated fogones or using gas cylinders — portable barbecues are not promoted.

Adjoining Cabildo tent campsite — authorisation via Tenerife ON.
Water on site (where provided) is generally NOT fit for drinking.
Bring your own charcoal/wood for fogones when cooking is permitted.
