EXTREME CAUTION: Charco del Diablo is a wild Atlantic coastal charco, not an ordinary safe swimming pool. Powerful waves, strong currents, sudden swell, slippery sharp volcanic rock and difficult exits create serious drowning and injury risk.
There is typically no lifeguard. Open-water swimming here can be dangerous — many visitors should enjoy the scenery without entering the water.
