Also known as Pinar de Chío — a 1,600 m pine-forest recreation area with views toward Teide and Pico Viejo. Picnic tables, fogones, accessible toilets with daytime showers, children’s play space and parking, plus adjoining camping for tents and nearby mobile homes.

Fixed cooking facilities (fogones) may be available at this recreation area, but their use can be restricted or completely prohibited during periods of elevated wildfire risk. Check current Cabildo de Tenerife / Tenerife ON restrictions before lighting any fire. Fires are only for food preparation in designated fogones or using gas cylinders — portable barbecues are not promoted.
