Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Tenerife Entertainment Scene website and app-style platform. By browsing, registering, logging in, submitting a listing, leaving a review, uploading content, purchasing a featured placement, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. About the platform
Tenerife Entertainment Scene is a directory and discovery platform for live entertainment, venues, bars, restaurants, hotels, gigs, events, menus, posters, reviews, and promotional listings in Tenerife. We provide a platform for users, acts, and venues to publish and discover information. We do not organise, host, manage, or guarantee third-party events unless expressly stated.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account or listing. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity carried out under your account. You must not impersonate another person, business, venue, or performer.
3. Account types
The platform may offer different account types, including user accounts, act accounts, and venue accounts. Features available to each account type may differ. Tenerife Entertainment Scene may change, improve, restrict, or remove platform features at any time.
4. Listings and profile information
Acts and venues are responsible for making sure that all information on their profiles, listings, gig cards, menus, posters, banners, social links, contact details, descriptions, and uploaded materials is accurate, lawful, and up to date. We may edit, remove, reject, suspend, or hide content that is inaccurate, misleading, offensive, unlawful, or harmful to the platform.
5. Events, gigs, and venue information
Dates, times, areas, prices, menus, availability, featured banners, and venue details are provided by users and listing owners. While we aim to keep information useful and current, Tenerife Entertainment Scene does not guarantee that every listing or event detail will always be complete, current, or error free. Users should confirm important details directly with the act or venue where needed.
6. Featured placements and subscriptions
The platform may offer premium placements, featured banners, promoted slots, subscriptions, and other visibility products for venues. Purchasing or activating a featured placement does not guarantee any minimum number of clicks, bookings, enquiries, customers, revenue, or results. Featured availability, rotation, placement frequency, and display order may change according to platform design, fairness logic, active subscribers, and system rules in force at the time.
7. Rotation, display order, and placeholders
Featured areas may include rotation logic and may show promotional placeholders when there are fewer active featured subscribers than available slots. Display positions may differ between users, sessions, devices, dates, times, and areas. Tenerife Entertainment Scene may change display order or rotation logic at any time to improve fairness, performance, monetisation, or usability.
8. User content and uploads
By uploading logos, menus, posters, profile images, banners, descriptions, reviews, replies, social media links, and other content, you confirm that you own the content or have permission to use it. You grant Tenerife Entertainment Scene a non-exclusive right to host, display, resize, crop, format, and use that content within the platform for the purpose of operating and promoting the service.
9. Reviews and replies
Users may be able to leave reviews for acts or venues. Listing owners may be able to reply to reviews and report reviews to admin. Reviews must be honest, lawful, and not defamatory, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or misleading. We reserve the right to moderate, remove, edit, restrict, or investigate any review or reply at our discretion.
10. Prohibited use
You must not misuse the platform. This includes, without limitation, posting false or misleading listings, scraping content, attempting to disrupt the site, creating fake accounts, abusing reviews, uploading infringing material, sending spam, abusing contact information, interfering with subscriptions or monetisation features, or using the platform for unlawful activity.
11. Admin rights and moderation
Tenerife Entertainment Scene may suspend, restrict, edit, unpublish, hide, or remove listings, reviews, replies, accounts, featured placements, or uploaded content where necessary to protect users, maintain quality, enforce these terms, or comply with legal obligations. We may also refuse service or access where appropriate.
12. Closing accounts
Acts and venues may be given the option to close their account from the My Account area. Where an account is closed, associated access may end immediately and certain content may be removed, unpublished, anonymised, or retained where required for legal, security, abuse prevention, accounting, or administrative purposes.
13. Links to third parties
The platform may include links to third-party websites, booking systems, maps, menus, social media pages, and other services. We are not responsible for the content, security, availability, or practices of third-party sites or services.
14. Intellectual property
The Tenerife Entertainment Scene name, platform design, code, layout, branding, graphics, structure, and original content remain the property of Tenerife Entertainment Scene or its licensors. You must not copy, republish, resell, or reproduce platform content or functionality without permission, except where your own uploaded content is concerned.
15. Availability of the service
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable from time to time because of maintenance, updates, hosting issues, software faults, content moderation, or matters outside our control.
16. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tenerife Entertainment Scene is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, reliance on listings, event cancellations, inaccurate information, user content, reviews, technical faults, login issues, subscription display order, or business losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Privacy and data protection
Your use of the platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Data Protection information pages. Where personal data is processed, Tenerife Entertainment Scene aims to comply with applicable data protection requirements, including GDPR and relevant Spanish data protection rules.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updated terms take effect when published on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes are published means you accept the updated terms.
